Don’t risk your precious binary by using those dodgy MIDI cables you inherited from your uncle who had the fridge-size rack setup in the 80’s. Who knows what sort of hair-metal-face-melting shenanigans he got up to…
We now have a lower profile RA plug that doesn’t have a rubber boot which allows for the cable to turn tighter corners when exiting. It has a rubber grommet inside the shell to help with strain relief.
Check out the video above to learn how to properly measure midi cables to suit your needs. In short, start measuring from the midi jack on your desired pedal, don’t cut corners on the way to the next midi jack. Lastly, loop back around to the midi jack to leave extra slack. See video for examples.
Like all our cable offerings, Goodwood Audio midi cables are built and tested by the hands of people who care about you, and your 1s and 0s.
