Will it fit my board?

It mounts to Creation V3 boards (custom shop included). If you're not on a Creation V3 board check out LongLine, the Interfacer or Audition.

FX Loop Pro vs Hi/Lo io?

FX Loop Pro adds the ability to easily route 4 cable method, pedal auditioning and a dedicated dry output for wet dry and wet dry wet. Hi/Lo io is buffering, isolation and basic routing only. Want flexible routing? FX Loop Pro. Just want quiet buffering, mono, dual mono and stereo? Hi/Lo.

Do I need an amp with an FX loop?

For 4 cable method, yes. You can still use FX Loop Pro for many other routing options and auditioning pedals without one.

Can I run amps and amp sims at the same time?

Yes. You can run stereo tube amps and a stereo amp sim at the same time using FX Loop Pro's built in additional outputs. Several of the jacks are TRS, so using an Insert cable (TRS to dual mono) unlocks those extra outputs. See the manual for the exact TRS use cases and full instructions.
