Love to try new pedals? Hate to rip up your pedalboard?

Say ‘Hi’ to FX Loop Pro!

FX Loop Pro is your fully integrated buffer, routing box, isolation and phase-control system, and summing/line-mixing device-all in one streamlined package.

Whether you use your tube amp’s FX Loop for 4- and 5-cable method, or love to test out new pedals, FX Loop Pro will streamline patching in external devices on your board in mono or stereo!

Don’t want to use your amp’s FX Loop for a gig? No problem—just don’t patch into the Dry and FX Send jacks. FX Loop Pro will auto-bypass those jacks and keep signal flowing at all times!

Now you have buffers in all the right places, no more noisy ground loops, and you can switch between mono, dual mono, 4-cable, 5-cable, and stereo without re-routing your entire pedalboard!

Easily insert a pedal or your amps FX Loop into your signal chain!

Easily insert a pedal or your amps FX Loop into your signal chain!

FX Loop Pro may look a bit intimidating when you first check it out—but it really just has three sections:

1. Your guitar’s input. Plug in here and send signal to your first pedal (dry effects) and, if you choose, an always-on tuner out.

2. The Audition Section. Patch this section anywhere you like in your signal chain. To try out a new pedal, plug a pedal/amp into the Dry Out (to pedal/amp input) and FX Send (from pedal output/amp FX Send) jacks. Signal is now being sent to this pedal/amp in your signal chain!

3. The Output Section. This is where you can isolate the ground on your final outputs, invert phase, and decide if you’re running mono, dual mono, stereo, 4-cable, or 5-cable method.

If running 4-cable method, plug one of the outputs into your amp’s FX Return jack.

SUMMING WITH FX LOOP PRO

  1. Using a stereo pedalboard:  Run stereo into the Left and Right inputs — get true stereo signal out of the left and right outputs.

  2. Stereo to Dual Mono:  Hit the Sum pushbutton — Now the left and right inputs are merged. This merged signal is sent to both left and right outputs.

  3. 2-Channel Line Mixer:  Use FX Loop Pro as a two channel line mixer. Send two different signals - a dry and wet signal as an example - into the Left and Right inputs respectively. These signals will now mix and send this mixed signal out of the left and right outputs

  4. Mono Input to All Outputs: Plug into Left input only — LongLine will buffer and split this signal to both the 1/4" and XLR outputs.

  5. Independent Line Drivers: Plug into Left input only — FX Loop Pro will buffer and split this signal to both the left and right outputs.

GROUND LIFT & PHASE CORRECTION

 1. Ground Lift:  A ground loop sounds like a loud buzz in your rig when you're running more than one output or sometimes even just 4 cable method! Now you can easily get rid of these annoying noises by pressing FX Loop Pro’s black LIFT pushbutton.

If running 4 cable method - try running FX Loop Pro’s Right output to your amps FX Return if you’re getting a ground loop - now you can take advantage of the ground lift!

2. Phase Correction: Fix phase cancellation between amps or amp sims by pressing the red Phase button. This inverts the polarity of the right 1/4" output by 180 degrees. This works well for amp sims and tube amps alike!
